The first time I saw him was May 14th 2008. I remember the very first thing that went through my mind at that very moment when I saw his picture, this is My Best Friend. After chatting and talking on the phone for a couple of weeks I finally built up the nerve to actually met him in person. On a Friday evening Elise and I met Michael at Walgreens. Elise being a 4 year old at the time was not shy and invited him over to our house, so how could he say no. We spent the next few hours being entertained by Elise at my house. I am not really sure what he thought of me at this point or of our very unplanned meeting. The next day I was thinking of him alot and decided to ask him to go to Prescott with me. I had taken a couple of days off work for Memorial weekend and thought this would be perfect opportunity to get to know him more. Sunday morning Mike, Bree, Elise and me went up to Cooper Basin Bible Camp in Prescott. We met my brother and his family up there and helped with the “work weekend”. We were put to work immedialty. Mike went with Jeff and did some work. I worked in the kitchen and the girls ran around camp and played. In between working we got to ride the Quad and the girls enjoyed riding the horses.
